The Eastern Iowa Regional Housing Corporation owns and manages ten elderly and/or disabled United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) rental units: six (1BR) in Grand Mound, Iowa, and four (1 BR) in Worthington, Iowa. Rental assistance is financed by United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for these units.

After receipt of the application, the applicant is placed on a waiting list. When a vacancy occurs and the applicant reaches the top of the waiting list, they are then mailed a preliminary briefing packet that needs to be completed and returned to the EIRHC office. After the screening process is completed, the applicant will be offered a unit.
