EIRHA’s policies and procedures manuals outline the fair housing policy, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or familial status in the sale or rental of housing and in other residential real estate transactions. This policy is consistent with HUD’s affirmative housing program administrative policy [Section 808 (e) (5)] of the Fair Housing Act.
